Searching candidates

X0PA AI gives you several ways to find candidates in your Talent Pool. Open Source → Search to search across all candidates.

Type skills, job titles, companies, or other terms into the search bar. Results are ranked by relevance and (where enabled) by AI match. Use quotation marks for exact phrases.

Filters​

Narrow results using the filter panel:

  • Skills
  • Location / willingness to relocate
  • Years of experience
  • Current / past role & company
  • Education
  • Tags and source
  • Availability / notice period

Combine filters to zero in on a specific profile.

For precise control, use Boolean operators in the search bar:

  • AND — both terms must appear (e.g. Java AND Kubernetes).
  • OR — either term (e.g. "React" OR "Angular").
  • NOT — exclude a term (e.g. developer NOT intern).
  • Parentheses group logic (e.g. (Java OR Kotlin) AND Android).
  • Quotation marks for exact phrases (e.g. "project manager").
tip

Start broad, then add AND / NOT clauses to tighten the results. Save time by reusing search terms that work well for recurring roles.

Acting on results​

From the results you can:

  • Open a candidate's profile.
  • Add candidates to a vacancy.
  • Contact candidates by email.
  • Apply tags to group candidates for later.
