Video interviews

For Online interviews, X0PA AI supports video — either a live video call or a recorded (asynchronous) interview the candidate completes in their own time.

Live video interviews​

  1. Schedule an Online interview.
  2. A video link is generated (or added) for the session.
  3. At the scheduled time, the candidate and interviewers join via the link.
  4. Interviewers complete the feedback form afterwards.

Recorded (asynchronous) video interviews​

Recorded interviews let candidates answer preset questions on video without scheduling a live call — useful for high-volume screening.

  1. Set up the interview with the questions you want candidates to answer on video.
  2. Invite the candidate; they record their responses at a convenient time.
  3. Reviewers watch the responses and submit feedback whenever it suits them.

This is ideal when many candidates need a first-round screen or when interviewers are in different time zones.

Reviewing recordings​

Video responses and recordings are attached to the candidate's application, so the hiring team (and, where invited, external reviewers) can watch and score them. See Sharing & collaboration.
