AI capabilities

AI is what sets X0PA AI apart. Rather than reviewing applicants in the order they arrive, the platform uses AI to surface the best-fit candidates, automate repetitive steps, and structure your data. This section explains what the AI does and where to configure it.

How scoring works

When AI matching is enabled for a vacancy, each candidate receives a match score based on signals such as skills, experience relevance, and education. Sort or filter the applicant list by score to focus on the strongest matches first.

Automating with Autopilot

Autopilot applies your rules automatically — for example advancing high-scoring candidates, sending acknowledgements, or triggering prescreening — so recruiters spend less time on repetitive steps. Configure it per vacancy in vacancy settings.

Configuring AI

  • Per vacancy — enable matching, adjust emphasis, and set Autopilot rules in vacancy settings.
  • Organisation-wide defaults — administrators set default AI behaviour in AI & portal settings.

:::note AI supports decisions; people make them X0PA AI is built for objective, skills-based screening. AI scores are decision support — recruiters remain accountable for hiring decisions. Combine AI output with your own review and structured interview feedback. :::
